Our Story
Smith Majestic Coons began over 15 years ago when we fell in love with our first Maine Coon, Maximus. His gentle nature, impressive size, and loving personality captured our hearts and inspired us to share this incredible breed with other families.
What started as a single beloved pet evolved into a passion for preserving and improving the Maine Coon breed. We spent years learning from experienced breeders, studying genetics, and establishing relationships with top veterinarians and feline health experts.
Today, we're proud to operate a small, reputable home-based cattery focused on quality over quantity. Every cat in our program is family, and every kitten receives individual attention, love, and the best possible start in life.

Our Breeding Environment
Our cattery is located in our family home, where our Maine Coons have full run of the house. They sleep on our beds, lounge on our furniture, and are integral members of our family.
We maintain a clean, safe, and enriching environment with plenty of vertical space, cat trees, scratching posts, and interactive toys. Our cats have access to windows for bird watching, cozy beds for napping, and dedicated play areas for exercise.
Kittens are born and raised in a quiet, designated nursery area initially, then gradually integrated into the main living spaces as they grow. This ensures they're exposed to everyday household sounds, activities, and interactions from an early age.

Daily Human Interaction
From the moment they're born, our kittens are handled gently every single day. We practice early neurological stimulation techniques that research shows improves stress tolerance and emotional resilience.
As they grow, we gradually increase handling time, teaching them to enjoy being held, petted, and cuddled. By the time they leave us, they're confident, affectionate companions.
Household Exposure
Our kittens grow up surrounded by normal household activity. They're exposed to the sounds of the vacuum cleaner, television, dishwasher, doorbell, and more. This ensures they won't be frightened by everyday sounds in their new home.
They also experience different floor surfaces, stairs, and various rooms, building confidence in exploring new environments.
Grooming Desensitization
Maine Coons require regular grooming due to their long, luxurious coats. We begin grooming desensitization early, gently brushing kittens, handling their paws, and touching their ears and mouth.
This makes future grooming sessions stress-free and helps with veterinary exams, nail trims, and dental care throughout their lives.
Multi-Pet Socialization
When appropriate and safe, our kittens are introduced to our family dogs and other cats. They learn proper feline communication, play behavior, and how to interact respectfully with other animals.
This makes transitioning to homes with existing pets much smoother and reduces stress for everyone involved.

Magnus is a magnificent brown tabby male with impressive size and classic Maine Coon features. He has a gentle giant personality and consistently produces large, healthy kittens. Genetically tested clear.

Freya is a striking red tabby with a sweet, nurturing personality. She's an excellent mother who produces confident, well-socialized kittens. Full health testing clear.
Our Journey
2009 - The Beginning
We welcomed our first Maine Coon, Maximus, into our family. His incredible personality and gentle nature sparked our passion for the breed.
2012 - Education & Mentorship
We began working with experienced breeders, learning about genetics, health testing, and ethical breeding practices. We studied Maine Coon breed standards and feline reproduction.
2015 - Official Launch
Smith Majestic Coons officially launched with our foundation breeding cats. We welcomed our first litter of healthy, beautiful kittens and placed them with carefully screened families.
2020 - Present
Today, we're proud to have placed over 250 healthy Maine Coon kittens with loving families across the country. We continue to prioritize health, ethics, and education in everything we do.
